Excellent topic and video regarding technology. We ae living in a tech savvy world so I think it is important for our students to learn to use technology devices in way that is beneficial for their future. They use it to communicate with friends and family and other things but not for learning in school.
The only issue as you mention is monitoring the students. If there were an easier way to keep up with this task I would be all for technolgy learning in the classroom. It would take alot of energy to monitor each student. Even with security devices students learn to by pass the security measures that are installed on the computer. I have seen it happen within my own school district. I still believe technology is the way to go in the classrooms.
